What types of music do you sing?
My style is popular music including Motown, Country, Soul, Ballads and Pop from the 1950s to the present day and from easy listening to upbeat songs. I can also sing and play Hymns and Christmas Carols.
Explain your pricing and fee structure
Prices start from £300.00. Travel is added at 50p per mile return. If you require the equipment setting up by a certain time but the entertainment isn't until a later stage, then charges will apply for the time. The white baby grand piano shell is £100.00 to hire with my services and makes a wonderful addition to your occasion.
Where have you performed and for whom?
I have performed at wedding ceremonies, wedding receptions, wedding breakfasts and wedding discos, for corporates including Jaguar Land Rover, The Conservative Party, Burton's Biscuit Company, Lafarge Holcim, Capsticks LLP, Cath Kidston Ltd and Hilton Hotels, and for many private parties and personal celebrations such as wedding anniversaries. I have performed at private homes, function venues, golf clubs, churches, castles, hotels, restaurants, synagogues, in marquees, outside, casinos and racecourses. I have yet to perform on a boat though :-)
What equipment do you bring and what do we need to provide?
I bring all the equipment required to perform for your event. I only need a power socket within 50 metres. All songs are performed on my Yamaha keyboard using a grand piano sound with or without drums. I can also play an acoustic piano if your venue has one and you'd prefer that. If you would like a grand piano look, I have a white grand piano shell into which my keyboard fits. I can also provide iPod playlists.
What if any part of my wedding is outside?
Assuming your venue allows amplified music outside, then I can perform outside. I need power within 50 metres. If it is a hot day, then cover may be required for the equipment such as a large umbrella or parasol, or covered area.
How loud is your PA system?
I can provide subtle background music or we can turn up the volume for dancing. It all depends on your event. I can be unobtrusive or be more prominent.
Can we come and meet you/hear you live?
Absolutely! Coffee and biscuits at the ready.
How do I book you?
When you are ready to book, I send out a booking form with the basic details discussed typed on it. A £100.00 deposit is required to secure the booking. The deposit can be paid via cheque or BACS transfer. The deposit is non-refundable. The remainder of the fee is due one month prior to your event as is the signed booking form showing all/any song choices, which allows me one month to prepare.
What if I need to change any details within one month of the event?
Please feel free to discuss any changes within the one month and I will accommodate you as much as possible.
What happens if you are sick and can't perform for us?
If that seems likely, I will contact you at the earliest convenience. All monies paid will be refunded and alternative arrangements will be discussed.
